ABOUT BENNACHIE LEISURE CENTRE
Bennachie Leisure Centre has been at the heart of Insch for 21 years, offering sport, health, social and educational welfare activities and services for all. Our focus is to promote health and well-being by providing a safe, supportive and welcoming environment to encourage and enthuse Insch and the surrounding community to become active and stay active!
Our vibrant, multi purpose hub not only offers sport and fitness to suit all ages and abilities, but also hosts other events, parties and activities, such as Insch Movies, Fundraising Fun Days, Cooking Classes, Whist Drives and lots more. See our timetable for more details. We have lots of ways to help the community to come together for social occasions...We’re much more than just a gym!
Our usual timetable consists of activities such as; Badminton, Yoga, Fit Kids, Fitness Classes, Indoor Cycling and Kid’s Holiday Camps.
In addition to our normal class timetables, Bennachie Leisure Centre also offers specialist classes and workshops through our network of independent groups and teachers, and includes activities such as Craft Workshops, Dance Classes, Walking and Jogging Groups and GCRA (Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise)
Fully qualified fitness instructors
Our fully qualified fitness instructors lead you through your class, and work with you to ensure you get maximum benefit with minimum risk of injury, and just the right amount of motivation to keep you going until the end!
Bennachie Leisure Centre is commited to the development of our team to ensure we deliver you the best service and help possible. We are working together with official partners to bring you the best in coaching and competition, including Badminton Scotland, Active Schools and UKDBA (Dodgeball).
Modern Gym and Facilities
Bennachie Leisure Centre has recently undergone a substantial refit and refurbishment, and is delighted to be able to offer new facilities and classes, such as our brand new Performance Studio, Free Weights Room, Indoor Cycling Studio and Meeting Room.
Volunteer At Bennachie Leisure Centre!
As a registered charity, we rely on the support of our volunteers. Our Board is made up of volunteer directors, nominated during AGM, and there are a host of opportunities available for those who’d like to lend a hand, such as sports coaching and events management, helping in the community café, as well as some of the more specialist maintenance jobs. We can reward you for your help or services by offering training, and for businesses free advertising on our website and within the Centre. So, whether you have some spare time every week, or just a spare hour here and there, we’d love to hear from you!

All Weather Pitches
I really enjoy playing tennis at the Bennachie Leisure Centre, the all weather courts are always kept in great condition allowing my friends and I to get great exercise without any disturbance.

Sports Hall
Along with a few friends, I hire out a third of the games hall to play badminton. The courts are always set up ready for us and in great condition. The Leisure Centre staff are always do their best to keep their customers happy!
